True Word of Yah & Reality: The worship of Asherah Is Still In Effect Today. Exodus 34

Updated: May 16, 2022

Did you know that there are over 15 places around the world that holds festivals for the phallic? I had no Idea that these festivals were around nor were there so many in existence still.

There are many reasons we are told to turn away from fornication. This worship of Asherah is exactly 1 reason. This sermon will discuss what an Asherah pole is and why it is worshiped today. This will also give your a perspective on why not many people make it into Heaven.

What is an Asherah Pole?

In the Book of Kings, the prophet Elijah challenged 400 prophets of Asherah at the same time that he battled 450 prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel. Other biblical references to "Asherah" refer to a type of sacred pillar or tree that was erected next to Canaanite or Israelite altars in many places. These trees or groves were associated with sacred prostitution of the Canaanite fertility cult.

What does Scripture Say about Asherah?

Exodus 34:13

But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves: H842

H842: אֲשֵׁרָה ʼăshêrâh, ash-ay-raw'; or אֲשֵׁירָה ʼăshêyrâh; from H833; happy; Asherah (or Astarte) a Phoenician goddess; also an image of the same:—grove. Compare H6253.

Strong's Number H842 matches the Hebrew אֲשֵׁרָה ('asherah), which occurs 40 times in 40 verses in the Hebrew concordance of the KJV

Biblical Outline of Usage of H842

Ashera(h) = "groves (for idol worship)"

  1. a Babylonian (Astarte)-Canaanite goddess (of fortune and happiness), the supposed consort of Baal, her images

    1. the goddess, goddesses

    2. her images

    3. sacred trees or poles set up near an altar

Now Let us look at H6253: עַשְׁתֹּרֶת ʻAshtôreth, ash-to'reth; probably for H6251; Ashtoreth, the Phoenician goddess of love (and increase):—Ashtoreth.

  • Strong's Number H6253 matches the Hebrew עַשְׁתֹּרֶת (`Ashtoreth), which occurs 3 times in 3 verses in the Hebrew concordance of the KJV

1 Kings 11:5 For Solomon went after Ashtoreth H6253 the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

Whoring / Harlet-H2181: זָנָה zânâh, zaw-naw'; a primitive root [highly fed and therefore wanton]; to commit adultery (usually of the female, and less often of simple fornication, rarely of involuntary ravishment); figuratively, to commit idolatry (the Jewish people being regarded as the spouse of Jehovah):—(cause to) commit fornication, × continually, × great, (be an, play the) harlot, (cause to be, play the) whore, (commit, fall to) whoredom, (cause to) go a-whoring, whorish.

Strong's Number H2181 matches the Hebrew זָנָה (zanah), which occurs 94 times in 82 verses in the Hebrew concordance of the KJV

Exodus 34:13-16 But ye shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves: For thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God: Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring H2181 after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice; And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring H2181 after their gods, and make H2181 thy sons go a whoring H2181 after their gods.

Cultures that celebrate fertility and worship Asherah today.

1.) Kawasaki Japan:

Each spring, people flock to Kawasaki, Japan, to celebrate Kanamara Matsuri, aka the “Festival of the Steel Phallus.”

Held this year on April 6, the festival is a celebration of the penis and fertility. People parade gigantic phallic-shaped mikoshi (portable Shinto shrines) down the streets during the event, as revelers suck on penis lollipops, buy penis-themed memorabilia and pose with sculptures in the shape of — you guessed it — penises .https://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/04/07/japan-penis-festival-kanamara-matsuri_n_5106378.html

  • The Shinto Kanamara Matsuri (かなまら祭り, "Festival of the Steel Phallus") is held each spring at the Kanayama Shrine (金山神社Kanayama-jinja) in Kawasaki, Japan. The exact dates vary: the main festivities fall on the first Sunday in April. The phallus, as the central theme of the event, is reflected in illustrations, candy, carved vegetables, decorations, and a mikoshi parade https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kanamara_Matsuri

2.) Chao Mae Tuptim Shrine - Bangkok, Thailand

The Chao Mae Tuptim shrine (Thai: ศาลเจ้าแม่ทับทิม, RTGS: Thapthim, also known as Penis Shrine[1]) is a phallic shrine in Bangkok, Thailand, located behind the Swissôtel Bangkok hotel near the bank of the Khlong Saen Saep. The shrine was created in the first quarter of the 20th century by Thai businessman Nai Lert (1872-1945), who found a spirit house floating in the klong and placed it on the bank of his property.[1] In Thailand, the phallus is considered to be a symbol of good luck and also a representative of fertility.

The shrine is named after Chao Mae Tuptim, a pre-Buddhist Southeast Asian tree spirit,[5] who is said to bestow blessings on those who worship her at the shrine.[6][5] The site attracts women from all across Thailand and even other east Asian countries. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chao_Mae_Tuptim_shrine

What is a Shrine? a place regarded as holy because of its associations with a divinity or a sacred person or relic, marked by a building or other construction.

synonyms: holy place · temple · church · chapel · tabernacle · altar · sanctuary · sanctum ·

3.) Love Land- South Korea

Jeju Loveland (제주러브랜드) (also known as Love Land) is an outdoor sculpture park which opened in 2004 on Jeju Island in South Korea. The park is focused on a theme of sex, running sex education films, and featuring 140 sculptures representing humans in various sexual positions. It also has other elements such as large phallus statues, stone labia, and hands-on exhibits such as a "masturbation-cycle." The park's website describes the location as "a place where love oriented art and eroticism meet." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_Land_(South_Korea)

4.) Bhutan Phallic Murals — Thimphu, Bhutan

Phallus paintings in Bhutan are esoteric symbols, which have their origins in the Chimi Lhakhang monastery near Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan. The village monastery was built in honour of Lama Drukpa Kunley who lived in the 15-16th century and who was popularly known as the "Mad Saint" (nyönpa) or “Divine Madman” for his unorthodox ways of teaching, which amounted to being bizarre and shocking.[1]

These explicit paintings, though embarrassing to many urbanites now (this folk culture is now informally discouraged in urban centres[2]), can be seen painted on the walls of houses and buildings throughout Bhutan, particularly in villages, and are credited as Kunley's creations.[3][4] Traditionally symbols of an erect penis in Bhutan have been intended to drive away the evil eye and malicious gossip.[5] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phallus_paintings_in_Bhutan

What is a Monastery?

noun, plural mon·as·ter·ies. a house or place of residence occupied by a community of persons, especially monks, living in seclusion under religious vows. the community of persons living in such a place.

So what is a penis doing next to a house of worship? Remember the Names have Changed but the Idolatry Remains the Same.

5.) The Kharkhorin Rock - Erdene Zuu Monastery, Mongolia

Kharkhorin Rock, also Kharkarin Rock or Phallic Rock, is a large statue of a penis raised on a platform on the steppe, located near Erdene Zuu Monastery (part of the World Heritage Site entitled Orkhon Valley Cultural Landscape) in Kharkhorin, Övörkhangai Province of Mongolia. The phallic rock statue has dual functions; primarily it is a reminder to the monks to remain celibate, but it is also a symbol of fertility and human life.[1][2] The 60-centimetre (24 in) long stone statue is located near Kharkhorin.[1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kharkhorin_Rock

As you can see there is still Asherah worship going on today. These cities keep their shrines and their statues. There is nothing new under the sun. We must keep in perspective that what was once shall be again. What was once done in the dark is now walking around the world in front of our children.

6.) Dixon Illinois- Church Shaped like a Penis

Clearly, this blueprint didn’t come with an overhead view. When the new church was erected, not one clergyman could guess that they were praying inside of a pair of testicles. But once the unfortunate shape was discovered by users of Google Earth, the church decided to play it cool. Instead of redesigning the church to mask the penis shape, they posted to their Facebook page, “fig leaf coming soon.” Classy. The Dixon Christian Science Church also didn’t change its motto, which is “rising up.”

Blueprint Types of Views: Construction 53

Plans are really orthographic views of an object as seen directly from above. Floor plans are the most common form of plan; they delineate the layout of a building. A floor plan is represented by a horizontal section taken through the building or portion of a building just above the windowsill level.

Ask and Architect: How To Read a Floor Plan

Floor plans are 2D projections (think maps) that give a bird’s eye view of a space including the presentation of details such as the location of windows, doors, appliances and plumbing fixtures. The floor plan plays a critical role throughout all phases of a project and can come in a variety of forms.

Mocking Abba Yah is a slap in His face and that is what this "church" is doing. They should be ashamed of themselves and correct this mistake. Abba Yah will judge. When things are brought to the Light and not rectified back to Yah, that's a choice and we can chose to change or remain the same.
