When someone says "Merry Christmas" I say: "thanks" or nothing because I cannot going to be rude nor can I reply those dreadful words back to people who just don't know the Truth or maybe don't care to know.
I use to think it was ok to even join my family at my mothers. As long as I didn't sit by the tree or act like I was having fun, I told myself I was there for my daughters. But as my walk with Abba Yah got stronger, I learned that I was still there and still partaking in Idolatry. To this day my family doesn't understand and that's on them (and on you because you too have been warned. I did my part and planted seeds)
My family always insisted on a real tree, one made of cedar or pin all my life, which I am highly allergic too. The smell clogs my windpipes and I cannot breath. I start to swell and break out in a rash/hives. (No Coincidences in Abba Yah's World)
I remember when I threw every "Christmas" related object out of my house it was 2016ish. My daughters understood to some degree as I explained to them what was going on the best I could.
